Azerbaijan, a friendly and brotherly country, has been carrying humanitarian aid to the earthquake zone since the first day of the earthquake with its flag carrier airlines Silkway Airlines and Silkway West Airlines.
Azerbaijani-flagged airlines Silkway Airlines and Silkway West Airlines supported Turkish Airlines and carried aid shipments to the points of need. Since the date of the earthquake disaster, 16 flights have been carried out, and more than 700 tons of relief materials have been transported.
Aid flights were made to Adana Şakir Paşa Airport, Incirlik Airport, and Istanbul Airport.
The flight, which departed from Hong Kong station and was allocated to Turkish Airlines yesterday evening, carried aid shipments to the points where it was needed, and 49 tons of aid materials were delivered to Istanbul.
Silk Way Group Turkey General Manager Gökhan Yalçın, the representative of the airlines, who expressed his condolences for the painful losses experienced in our country, conveyed his wishes to our surviving citizens.
